June 2008 -- elected vice president, named Workshops Chair, Philadelphia Writers Conference. Year two as Free Forums Chair begins.

Jan, 2008 -- learned I was a finalist in New Millenium's previous summer Fiction competition.

Sept, 2007 -- named Chair of the PWC Free Forums.

Aug, 2007 -- named finalist, Opium Magazine 500-word memoir competition.

March, 2007 -- joined staff of The Literary Review.

November, 2006 -- runner up, First Annual Microfiction Slam, Voices and Visions bookstore, Philadelphia.

August, 2006 -- graduated MFA from Fairleigh Dickinson Univ.

June 2006 -- joined editorial board of Philadelphia Stories magazine.

June 2004 -- joined board of directors, Philadelphia Writers Conference (PWC). Serve on workshops and community outreach committees, co-moderate fiction raps, and have spent one year on the agent/editor committee.

January 2004 -- winning entry in NJ Wordsmith competition performed by Unlimited Potential Theater Company of NJ.

June 2003 -- won first prize at PWC for literary short story, Fatigues of the Day, and for first chapter of science fiction novel Sea of Storms. Also took the honorable mention for first chapter of Echoes of Light. Published in anthology.

Fall 2002 -- two stories published in Cerebellum a literary anthology (Pulitzer Prize winner Stephen Dunn has a very very brief introductory essay in same book).

June 2002 -- screenplay Earthbound took second at PWC. Later published in winner's anthology.

June 2001 -- took the honorable mention for popular short story and first prize for historical novel at Philadelphia Writers Conference.

April 2001 -- short story Menda City published in literary anthology Beyond the Seven Bridges.

September 2000 -- poem published in New Century Voices.

June 2000 -- won Words on the Wall competition (by popular vote) and took the honorable mentions for literary short story and for humorous essay at PWC.

June 1999 -- took the honorable mentions for literary short story and for advanced novel at PWC.

June 1999 -- short story published in Romance Recipes for the Soul.

May, 1999 -- finish novel Captain Cobalt.

Winter 1997 -- finish novel Scratch.

June, 1996 -- graduate Delaware County Association for the Blind.
